K.E.T.O (Kids Empowered Through Opportunity)
We are a charity organisation who provide creative learning opportunities to under privileged children from difficult inner-city backgrounds. These children have often been failed by both their parents and the institutions who are supposed to to support them. Drugs and Gang involvement are common place and needless to say our work can be very challenging. Our support spans a broad range of activities including:
- Mentoring & Guidance
- Educational workshops
- Outreach work
- Fund raising
I cannot say enough about the brilliant people who give so much at KETO but we are always looking for new leaders who can make a real difference to some of the most neglected children of inner-city Liverpool.
Looking for People
Do any of these people sound like you?
We are looking for individuals who can provide unique, creative learning experiences to children aged 10-16 on a part time basis. All you need is a passion for your subject and the enthusiasm to deliver it. We have some funding available for equipment and materials that might be needed to deliver your proposed workshop. Interested? Get in touch!
We are looking for a business mentor / angel preferably with experience in the charity sector. Although we are all very experienced at the work we do we are lacking a savy business mind who can provide us with much needed practical and strategic advice on both managing and growing our organisation. It would be an "executive roll" perhaps once a month, but we are open to a level of commitment that you are comfortable with?
Incentives are being offered if you get involved with this project.
Get involved with our highly motivated team and make a real difference in some of the most deprived areas of Liverpool.
We have some funding available to help with travel costs and for those interested in providing workshops. Please see our Ideal People.
